Tentative Eid al-Adha Weekend Schedule – Join Us in Celebration!

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh dear brothers and sisters,

Alhamdulillah, we have secured the Blaisdell Center for this year’s Eid ul-Adha gatherings! As we enter these sacred days, we ask Allah to accept from all of us and to bless our community with unity, joy, and renewed faith.

 The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

“No days are more beloved to Allah for righteous deeds than these ten days.”

(al-Bukhari)

Given the potential for Eid to fall on either Friday, June 6 or Saturday, June 7, here is our tentative schedule:

If Eid is on Friday, June 6

Friday, June 6 – Eid Prayer Only

   •   Location: Hawaii Suites, Blaisdell Center

   •   Takbeerat Begin: 9:00 AM

   •   Eid Prayer & Khutbah: 9:30 AM

Saturday, June 7 – Full Community Celebration

   •   Lunch

   •   Family activities, bouncers, games, and prizes

   •   Location: Exhibition Area at Blaisdell Center

If Eid is on Saturday, June 7

Saturday, June 7 – Eid Prayer & Full Celebration

   •   Location: Hawaii Suites & Exhibition Area, Blaisdell Center

   •   Takbeerat Begin: 9:00 AM

   •   Eid Prayer & Khutbah: 9:30 AM

   •   Followed by lunch, kids’ activities, bouncers, prizes, and more!

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

“The Day of ‘Arafah, the Day of Sacrifice, and the Days of Tashriq are our festival, the people of Islam, and they are days of eating and drinking.”

(al-Tirmidhi)
