Important Jumu’ah Update Today: Please Read Before Attending

Assalamu Alaikum dear respected community members,

This is a friendly reminder that beginning today, MAH will be holding two Friday (Jumu’ah) prayer sessions beginning today:

First Session: 12:45 PM

Second Session: 1:45 PM

The purpose of this change is to reduce congestion, improve traffic flow, and help ensure a smooth and positive experience for both worshippers and our neighbors.

To help support these efforts, we encourage everyone with schedule flexibility to attend the 1:45 PM session. Those whose schedules allow them to attend either prayer session are especially encouraged to attend the 1:45 PM session, as this will help distribute attendance more evenly and reduce congestion during the peak period.

As previously announced, all visitors should plan to attend the 1:45 PM session, which is also reflected on our website.

We ask everyone to carefully follow parking instructions. Please utilize the designated church parking areas first and comply with all posted parking regulations and volunteer directions. Respectful and lawful parking is essential to maintaining positive relationships with our neighbors and ensuring a smooth experience for everyone.

Please note that attendance at each prayer session is subject to available capacity. Once a prayer session reaches its designated capacity, no additional attendees will be admitted to that session.

We ask everyone to follow volunteer instructions and help ensure a smooth transition between the two prayer sessions. Attendees of the 12:45 PM prayer are kindly requested to arrive on time and to exit the masjid and parking areas promptly upon completion of the prayer. This will allow volunteers to prepare for the second session, reduce congestion as worshippers depart and arrive, and help ensure that attendees for the 1:45 PM prayer can be accommodated safely and efficiently.

Attendees of the 1:45 PM prayer are asked not to arrive before 1:30 PM, as parking and gate access for the second session will not open until that time. This will help reduce congestion, allow worshippers from the first session to depart safely and efficiently, and support a smooth transition between services.

To further reduce congestion and allow worshippers from the first session to depart efficiently, attendees for the second session are asked not to remain in the surrounding neighborhood while waiting for entry. Those arriving early may wish to spend time at nearby Manoa District Park or another appropriate location until parking and gate access open at approximately 1:30 PM.

Due to capacity limitations and operational requirements, attendees from the first session will not be able to remain in the masjid once preparations begin for the second session.

We also ask everyone to fully cooperate with volunteers and follow all parking and traffic instructions so that today’s transition is successful for everyone.

We appreciate everyone’s patience, cooperation, and support as we implement these changes. With your help, we can continue to worship comfortably while reducing congestion, being considerate of our neighbors, and protecting our ability to serve the community for years to come.
